Last Day to Shop!

Meet Bill Menges from C & B Woodstylings...

My name is Bill Menges and I am a retired arborist.Trees and wood have always been fascinating to me so, naturally, woodworking has been my favorite pastime since I was a youth. I am constantly amazed to see what can be made with wood.

My wife, Robin, and I have five adult children and four energetic dogs. Spending time with my kids is my greatest joy and, of course, my lovely wife's amazing cooking

This is the first time I will be showing/selling my work to the public. The inspiration for projects begins with my desire to build or make something different. If I have an image in my mind I will try to bring it to life.

An idea sticks in my head. Once I have my idea I choose a piece of wood and start working. As I work on the wood, I begin to see what the wood wants to become.

I want to reveal the natural beauty in each piece of wood I work with. The wood makes the things I make beautiful.

Meet Majorie Falk from Marjorie Falk Jewelry...

I have been involved in the visual arts for a billion years. I am an art teacher for public and private schools, docent (CMA), and fused glass artist. When I was in kindergarten, my teacher told my mother that I was going to be an artist and I believed her!

Around 15 years ago, I took a fused glass class and the light bulb went off! Now I could make my landscapes and abstract paintings with glass. All of my work is inspired by the history of art (Rothko, Monet, Picasso , Kusama).

I observe paintings and sculptures that excite me and that is my starting point for when I create my fused glass jewelry and wall sculptures. It is my hope that that special piece to wear or sculpture on your wall will bring you joy and help brighten up your life.
My process consists of  buying large pieces of glass, cut them, arrange them, and fire them in my kiln 3-4 times. The temperature goes as high as 1500 degrees.

Meet Brad Davis from Daisy Bell Woodcraft...

Just a local guy trying to use my skills to create something tangible and useful. This particular form of woodworking, I have been back at it for a few years. This will be my first show that I am participating in.

I feel inspired by not wasting my skills and finding peace in creating. My family is a huge part of my crafting journey. We have all been aligned with arts, crafts and building our whole lives. I especially discovered my talent through my father, he taught me all of the skills I use today.

I don't have a real process when it comes to creating a piece. I just grab a piece of wood and let it create itself with a little help from some tools. In five years, I would love for this craft to slowly remove or downsize my traditional need for employment.

I am proud of what I create despite critics.
